QUESTIONS ON CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

1. Do I get a refund if I did not reach the summit during my climb?

There will be no refunds, under any circumstances. This includes:

Summit closure due to bad weather

Being refused to climb by Sabah Park rangers or mountain guides due to personal health, safety reasons or any reasons that effect the authorities decisions to disallow you to summit.

2. Do I get a refund if I am unable to proceed for the climb due to flight delay?

If your tour has not commenced, please refer to our Cancellation Policy in which your refund will be based on. There would be no refunds less than four (04) days of notification after the tour has commenced or for any unused tour services including but not limited to transfer, meals & accommodation, guiding, the climb itself or any other services not utilized.

3. Do I get a refund if I am unable to proceed for the climb due to personal or health reasons such as food poisoning?

If your tour has not commenced, please refer to our Cancellation Policy in which your refund will be based on. There would be no refunds less than four (04) days of notification after the tour has commenced or for any unused tour services including but not limited to transfer, meals & accommodation, guiding, the climb itself or any other services not utilized.

4. Do I get a refund if I am unable to proceed for the climb due to hospitalization?

If your tour has not commenced, please refer to our Cancellation Policy in which your refund will be based on. There would be no refunds less than four (04) days of notification after the tour has commenced or for any unused tour services including but not limited to transfer, meals & accommodation, guiding, the climb itself or any other services not utilized.

5. Do I get a refund if I am unable to proceed for the climb due to pregnancy?

If your tour has not commenced, please refer to our Cancellation Policy in which your refund will be based on. There would be no refunds less than four (04) days of notification after the tour has commenced or for any unused tour services including but not limited to transfer, meals & accommodation, guiding, the climb itself or any other services not utilized.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

A written noticed must be provided in the event of a booking cancellation. The following charges must be borne by both the Client and Travelling Companions as follows:-

Number of days between tour commencement and receipt of cancellation notice:

  • 30 days or more (50% of tour cost)
  • 15 to 29 days (75% of tour cost)
  • 08 to 14 days (85% of tour cost)
  • 04 to 07 days (95% of tour cost)
  • Less than 04 days or No Show (100% of tour cost)

For tour products or individual components supplied by 3rd parties, e.g. Air Tickets, Hotel/Lodge Bookings, etc, cancellation fees under the terms and conditions of the respective 3rd parties shall apply plus a minimum handling charge of RM50 per service per person.
